Bun E. Carlos also sued the band after he left mysteriously in 1979 in the cook county court. The suit claimed that although Carlos was no longer participating in the band’s tour, he remained a full member and entitled to payments. He claimed that he was not being credited with his shares and that the band owed him hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The cheap trick has also sued Ottawa Bluesfest for $1 million for compensation of collapsed stage that happened while they were setting up.
